Vara Tomosynthesis

Vara Tomosynthesis is software that analyses digital breast tomosynthesis examinations in breast cancer screening. It processes synthetic 2D images, slabs or the full 3D image stack and classifies each examination as unremarkable or suspicious, with regions of interest marked for suspicious findings. According to the manufacturer, it is integrated into the PACS and can be used as a concurrent or independent second reader.
